Searches carried out in Samba
Jammu: Security forces have launched a search operation following suspected movement along the Indo-Pakistan border in Samba district, officials said Tuesday.
The search operation was launched in Basantar river area in Ramgarh sector, they said.

Basantar riverine area along the International Border has been an infiltration route for militants.
Pertinently, Prime Minister NarendraModi is visiting Jammu on 3rd of Feb to lay foundation stone for AIIMS-Jammu. He is also scheduled to address a rally there.
