Erring traders fined
Ganderbal: The Court of Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Adjudicating Officer, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari today imposed a fine of Rs 4, 68, 000 on erring traders during an inspection drive for violating various provisions of Food Safety and Standards Act.
The ADC asked the food business operators to strictly adhere to set regulations. He directed the concerned authorities to conduct market checking on a daily basis to monitor whether hygienic and quality food is made available to the general public.
