Delegations call on Lt Guv
JAMMU: A delegation of Baba Amarnathji and Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas led by its President Pawan Kohli called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, on Thursday and discussed the promotion of religious tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
The members of the delegation also projected important matters pertaining to the upcoming Baba Budha Amarnthiji Yatra, a Lok Bhawan spokesman said here.
Subsequently, a delegation of All India Masih Seva Dal, headed by Camres David also called on the Lieutenant Governor and projected various welfare issues of the Christian community.
Later, another delegation of Wadies Hindi Shiksha Samiti led by its President Nasreen Ali also called on the Lieutenant Governor.The delegation put forth various issues pertaining to promotion of Hindi language, the spokesman added.
