CRPF ASI dies of cardiac arrest in Kulgam
Kulgam, July 15: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Assistant Sub-Inspector, died after suffering a cardiac arrest in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday morning, officials said.
Officials said that the ASI, posted with the 18th Battalion of the CRPF in Kulgam, suffered a fall while on duty.
He was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, where doctors declared him dead on arrival and said he had suffered a cardiac arrest. He was later identified as Jai Prakash, a resident of Haryana.
Meanwhile, officials said that further proceedings have been initiated. (KNO)
