ITBP DG reviews security along Amarnath Yatra routes
Srinagar, July 4 (PTI) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Director General Shatrujeet Kapur trekked 16 km on foot to review security arrangements along the twin Amarnath Yatra routes in Jammu and Kashmir’s, the force said on Saturday.
‘DG ITBP Shatrujeet Kapur trekked 16 km on foot to review security arrangements along Shri Amarnath Yatra 2026 routes, both Baltal and Pahalgam axis,’ the ITBP said in a post on X.
It said Kapur interacted with troops and commended their professionalism in ensuring a secure pilgrimage.
The 57-day yatra commenced on Friday and is scheduled to conclude on August 28.
