Man killed as unexploded shell explodes in Baramulla
Srinagar, June 27: A man died after an old unexploded shell went off near Asha Post in the Sumli Wali Dhok area of Gulmarg on Saturday.
A police officer confirmed about the death, stating, “One person was killed due to detonation of an unexploded shell. We are ascertaining more details into this incident.”
The deceased has been identified identified as Zubair Ahmad Bijad son of Rafiq Bijad resident of Chandosa.
Police have started an investigation. Further details are awaited. (GNS)
