LG condoles deaths in Nagrota road accident

Srinagar, Jun 14 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident in Nagrota.

The lieutenant governor mourned the deaths of three Haryana residents and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

“Deeply grieved to learn about the loss of precious lives in a tragic road accident near Jagti, Nagrota. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the early recovery of the injured. I have directed the District Administration to provide all necessary assistance to the affected families,” Sinha said in his message.

Earlier in the day, a car carrying five Haryana residents collided with a truck along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway. While two persons died on the spot, another succumbed to injuries in the Government Medical College hospital Jammu, officials said.

The injured persons are receiving treatment.
