BJP thinks about next generation, not election: Rajnath Singh
HYDERABAD, Jun 12 (PTI): Asserting that the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are honest not just in their work but also in their intentions, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said the party always thinks about “the next generation, not the next election.”
Addressing an ‘Intellectual Meet’ here, Singh said every rupee of India’s Budget was being used to strengthen the country’s security, and that there were no corruption allegations against the NDA government.
“We are not worried about (winning) the next election, but about the next generation. We are not concerned about what will happen in the next election—we are concerned about what will happen to the next generation. Our intentions are very clear. There is no difference between our words and deeds,” he said.
