BJP youth president, former MLA meet Lt Guv
SRINAGAR: Yash Parimoo, BJP Youth President Srinagar called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday. He was accompanied by Liyaqat Ali, President, and Sadiya Yaseen Shah, General Secretary, Human Rights Protection Organization (HRPO) Satyamev Jayate, J&K UT, a Lok Bhawan spokesman said.
The delegation lauded the UT administration on the remarkable success of Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan in promoting a drug-free society and creating awareness among the youth about the harmful effects of substance abuse.
Meanwhile, Rafi Ahmad Mir, former Member of Legislative Assembly and General Secretary Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
Subsequently, a delegation of Baba Barfani Foundation led by its Vice Chairman Roshan Hussain also called on the Lieutenant Governor, the spokesman added.
