Dear Sir,
Banish the ‘liquid deaths’ now
The recurring mass murder by methanol-laced spurious liquor recently claiming 18 precious lives is a catastrophic systemic failure not a mere tragedy.
National Crime Records Bureau statistics paint a horrifying picture of thousands choked to death by bootleg rings. Yet our enforcement remains dangerously flaccid.
To permanently erase this parallel economy of poison the government must ditch empty rhetoric for practical, iron fisted tech infrastructure. One must mandate blockchain backed QR codes on all legal alcohol bottles for instant public verification and aggressively track industrial methanol using GPS fitted tankers.
Furthermore, establishing localized anonymous whistle blower hotlines with financial incentives will dismantle corrupt bootlegger ecosystems from within. Treating these mass poisonings as non bailable acts of terror is the only way to stop these state tolerated syndicates.
