Srinagar: The inaugural ceremony of ARCHEX 2026 Srinagar, Kashmir’s premier exhibition dedicated to architecture, construction, interiors, and building technologies, was held successfully at the Government Polytechnic for Women on Saturday, a statement issued by the coordinators of the event said.
The expo, powered by Asian Paints Limited, commenced with an impressive turnout of architects, builders, developers, students, and members of the general public.
The grand inauguration was graced by Satish Sharma, Minister, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Farooq Ahmed Shah (MLA, Tangmarg) and Salman Ali Sagar, (MLA, Hazratbal), who formally inaugurated the exhibition and appreciated the initiative for bringing the latest innovations in architecture and construction to the Kashmir Valley.
Soon after the inauguration, the exhibition witnessed a tremendous response from visitors, who explored a wide range of innovative products, advanced technologies, and modern design solutions showcased by leading brands from across the country. The event provided an excellent opportunity for architects, engineers, contractors, students, and business professionals to gain firsthand knowledge of cutting-edge developments in the building and construction sector.
The chief guests and other special guests visited various exhibitor stalls, including Asian Paints Limited, KONE Corporation, Greenlam Industries Limited and several other renowned brands. They interacted with company representatives and appreciated the innovative products and technologies on display.
The dignitaries highly praised the outstanding management and professional execution of the exhibition. They described ARCHEX 2026 as a visionary initiative that will significantly boost business opportunities, promote adoption of advanced technologies, and strengthen the architecture and construction industry in Jammu & Kashmir.
