Parliamentary Standing Committee, Union Minister call on Lt Guv
SRINAGAR: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance headed by Bhartruhari Mahtab called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhavan, on Monday, a Lok Bhawan spokesman said here.
He said that later, Anupriya Patel, Union Minister of State, Health & Family Welfare, Chemicals and Fertilizers also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
She was accompanied by Ashish Singh Patel, Minister of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Later, a delegation of Associated Chamber of Commerce & Industry Kashmir (ACCIK) led by its President Tariq Ghani called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha and put forth various issues of business community.
The ACCIK delegation also congratulated the Lieutenant Governor for the historic Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir campaign and Padyatra in Srinagar and lauded the initiative aimed at building a drug-free society and safeguarding the future of youth.
