JKTA raises concern over delay in salaries of Data Entry operators (DEOs)
Seek urgent intervention of State Project Director
Baramulla: District President of the JK Teachers Association Baramulla, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat has voiced grave concern over the inordinate delay in disbursement of salaries to the Data Entry Operators engaged under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan within the Education Department.
In a spokesman he said that these officials are entrusted with vital responsibilities including data management, academic documentation, digital reporting, and administrative assistance at school and office levels.
Their uninterrupted services are essential for the smooth implementation of educational programmes and maintenance of official records. However, the non-payment of salaries for the past two months has placed them under considerable financial strain and mental stress.
Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat has earnestly appealed to the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, to take immediate cognizance of the matter and issue necessary directions for the prompt release of the pending salaries. He emphasized that timely remuneration is a fundamental administrative obligation and crucial for sustaining the morale and efficiency of the workforce.
The JK Teachers Association Baramulla stands in solidarity with the affected officials and sincerely hopes for swift and compassionate intervention from the concerned authorities.
