Farooq Abdullah expresses grief over Udhampur bus accident
Srinagar: National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Monday expressed grief and shock over the tragic loss of lives in the Udhampur bus accident that left 21 dead and 29 others injured.
Abdullah extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for strength and solace to help them endure the immense loss, said a spokesperson of the party.
The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir also wished a speedy and full recovery to those injured in the accident and said his thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy.
The NC president also expressed hope that the ongoing relief and rescue operations are carried out swiftly and effectively.
Abdullah urged the concerned authorities to extend all possible help to the victims and their families during this difficult time.
A passenger bus rolled down a hillside on Ramnagar-Udhampur road in the Udhampur district on Monday, killing 21 people and wounding 29 others. The bus crushed an auto-rickshaw before landing upside down on the road below.
