Srinagar: With meticulous planning and coordinated efforts, authorities have finalised all arrangements for Hajj 2026, paving the way for thousands of pilgrims to embark on their sacred journey with ease and confidence.
From accommodation and transport to health services and training sessions, the Haj Committee of India has ensured that every aspect of the pilgrimage is managed with precision. Officials noted that this year’s preparations place a strong emphasis on pilgrim comfort, safety, and efficient coordination with Saudi authorities.
Er. Aijaz Hussain, Member of the Haj Committee of India, expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and highlighted the collective effort behind the preparations.
“Haj is not just a journey; it is a deeply cherished aspiration for millions. This year, we have ensured that every pilgrim feels supported, safe, and spiritually at ease from departure to return. Our teams have worked tirelessly to uphold the sanctity of this sacred journey while embracing modern systems for efficiency,” he said.
An official from the Jammu and Kashmir Haj Committee said that all necessary preparations for pilgrims from the Union Territory have also been completed, with special attention to facilitation and guidance.
“All selected pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir have undergone orientation and training sessions. We have ensured proper coordination for their travel, accommodation, and health requirements. Our teams are in constant touch with pilgrims to address any concerns and ensure a smooth experience,” the official said.
He added that dedicated helpdesks, medical screening, and document verification processes have been streamlined to avoid any inconvenience to pilgrims before departure.
In Jammu and Kashmir, pilgrims are participating in orientation sessions to better understand rituals, travel guidelines, and cultural practices. Families are preparing to bid farewell to their loved ones, marking the beginning of a journey that holds deep personal and spiritual significance.
