Young Philanthropist support students of PM SHRI GSS Laharwalpora

Bandipora: A young philanthropist and entrepreneur, Arshad Khan from Kaloosa, donated two dozen pairs of shoes to the students of PM SHRI Government Secondary School Laharwalpora. The contribution, valued at ₹10,000, aims to support students and encourage a sense of dignity and confidence among them.
The shoes were formally handed over to the students in the school premises by a respected elder of the community, Mohammad Shaban Handoo, in the presence of staff and students. The occasion reflected a spirit of community partnership and collective responsibility towards education and welfare.
The Head of Institution, Javaid Jawad, an award-winning educator, expressed profound gratitude to Arshad Khan for his noble and timely gesture. He remarked that such acts of kindness not only address immediate needs but also inspire a culture of empathy and giving within society.
“This generous contribution will go a long way in supporting our students. We deeply appreciate the concern shown by young members of our community like Arshad Khan, who are setting exemplary standards of social commitment,” he added.
The school administration and staff lauded the initiative and called upon others to come forward in support of educational institutions, especially in uplifting underprivileged students.
