Young twin participant, create history at ‘Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championship’ held in Muscat
Srinagar: Young twin siblings, Vidhi Gupta and Vaibhav Gupta were among the world’s youngest participants at the ‘Ironman 70.3 Oman Middle East championship held on 14th February in Muscat.
The prestigious event was held with great enthusiasm in Muscat, the capital of Oman. This world-class endurance championship tests the physical strength, mental resilience, and determination of athletes at the highest level.
During the demanding competition, participants are required to complete for 1.9 kilometers of swimming, 90 kilometers of cycling and 21.1 kilometers (half marathon sprint).
Notably, athletes from around the world took part in the event, showcasing exceptional fitness, passion, and perseverance.
At this prestigious event, Vidhi Gupta and Vaibhav Gupta, twins from Noida, earned special recognition as among the youngest twin participants in the world to compete in this championship. By successfully taking part in this globally respected event, they set an inspiring example for youth everywhere, said a sports lover.
Adding to the pride of the occasion, their father, Manish Gupta, also participated in the same competition.
