DGPC delegation calls on Lt Guv
JAMMU: A delegation of District Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) Jammu led by its President S. Ranjeet Singh Tohra called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday.
The delegation comprised of S. Ranvir Singh, S. Jagpal Singh, S. Gurmeet Singh, S. Karan Singh Bali and S. Avtar Singh put forth various issues pertaining to welfare and empowerment of Sikh Community in Jammu Kashmir including preservation and development of important Sikh religious and historical sites, Amendment of Sikh Religious and Endowment Act, 1973 and promotion of Punjabi language.
