Police traces out missing lady, reunites her with family
Srinagar: Police traced a woman who was missing from 17th November, last year and reunited with her family in Kulgam, a police spokesman said Saturday.
He said that in November last year police received a written complaint from Waseem Ahmad Wani stating therein that his spouse identified as Bisma Jan is missing from her rented room at Amnoo, Kulgam.
Accordingly, a missing report was lodged in Police and investigation was initiated. Subsequently, massive search was launched by a police team and after strenuous efforts and utilising all available technical/human resources the woman was traced from Jalandar Punjab.
After completion of all legal/medical formality the said lady was handed over to her relatives. Family members of the traced missing lady have applauded the efforts by J&K police for prompt response in tracing her out.
