Delay in disposing official files won’t be accepted: DSEK Says time-bound clearance of files is top priority
Srinagar: Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Naseer Ahmad Wani Monday chaired an important review meeting of all *Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of Kashmir Division at the Directorate of School Education Kashmir to assess the on-going functioning and progress of the School Education Department, an official spokesman said. During the meeting, the Director issued a series of clear and firm directions on key administrative and academic matters, including teacher and non-teaching staff issues, trainings, inspection and monitoring mechanisms, accounts, planning, and overall departmental performance. Placing strong emphasis on administrative efficiency, Naseer Ahmad Wani categorically stated that timely disposal of files and cases is his foremost priority and made it clear that no file shall be delayed due to unnecessary or avoidable reasons. The DSEK also reviewed the *status of audits, expenditure patterns, Apex budget, REVEX budget and other financial matters. He instructed all concerned officers to ensure smooth execution of approved works and proper utilization of funds within the stipulated timeframe, strictly adhering to financial norms and guidelines. The meeting was attended by Joint Directors of the department Syed Shabir Ahmad, Kishore Kumar and Muhammed Mushtaq, Personnel Officer DSEK Dr. Iqbal Hussain Mir, Chief Accounts Officer DSEK Zahoor Ahmad Khanday, all Chief Education Officers of Kashmir Division and other senior officers of the department.
