Police arrests absconder from Awantipora in south Kashmir
Srinagar: Police in Awantipora arrested a absconder who was evading arrest since long, a police spokesman said Friday.
He said that police received a non-bailable warrants under section 299 CrPC/ 335 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita issued by the Principal Session Court Pulwama against an absconder Sartaj Ahmad Sheikh son of Abdul Rashid Sheikh resident of Khrew. The absconder was involved in two cases registered at Police Station Pampore.
Accordingly, a special team arrested the accused who was subsequently produced before the court of Law, the spokesman added.
