Police detains stunt biker within 24 hrs
Srinagar: Police in Baramulla have detained an individual involved in a recent stunt biking incident that had surfaced on social media, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
The individual, identified as Shahid Assad Dar resident of Puthar Kreeri, was seen performing dangerous stunts on a motorcycle in a video that appeared on social media yesterday. He has been booked under Sections 184 and 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act, and the motorcycle used in the offence has been seized.
The action was taken by Police in Gulmarg as part of police’s ongoing drive to ensure road safety and strict enforcement of traffic laws, the spokesman added.
