ZEO Quilmuqam Felicitates GMS Onagam Students for Qualifying GAT Mains
Bandipora: Seven students of Government Middle School (GMS) Onagam, who qualified for the Mains of the General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by Aloha J&K, were felicitated with dictionaries and stationery items at a simple function presided over by ZEO Quilmuqam, Abdul Rehman Mir.
In his address, Mir appreciated both the students and the staff for their dedicated efforts that led to this achievement. He urged the students to work with passion and commitment to achieve their future goals.
Award-winning teacher, Javid Jawad, briefed the audience about the GAT examination and its importance in shaping a student’s career. He congratulated the students and staff for their commendable performance.
It is noteworthy that 12 students of GMS Onagam appeared in the GAT 2025, out of which seven qualified for the next round. On this occasion, the students were presented with student dictionaries and other stationery items. Additionally, 14 selected students received the monthly children’s magazine Bachon Ki Duniya.
The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Salim Mustafa, followed by a prayer presented by a Class 8th student, written by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.
