Trader’s association delegation, sports personalities call on Lt Guv
SRINAGAR: A delegation of Traders Association, Lal Chowk Srinagar led by its President Mohammad Iqbal Khan called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, on Monday, an official spokesman said.
He said that the members of the delegation put forth important matters pertaining to the improvement of civic amenities at Lal Chowk and other issues of traders’ community.
The Lieutenant Governor assured that appropriate action will be taken to address the issues projected by them.
Later, Sheikh Najmus Saqib and Suhaib Feroz Jeelani, International Pencak Silat Players from Srinagar called on Lieutenant Governor.
The players apprised him of various issues pertaining to the extension of benefits under the sports policy to the sportspersons of Jammu Kashmir.
