CEO Ganderbal visits educational institutions in Kangan and Hariganiwan zones
Ganderbal: Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Oneel Kumar Bhat, conducted an extensive visit to various educational institutions in Zone Kangan and Zone Hariganiwan, aimed at reviewing academic progress and fostering a supportive learning environment, a statement issued by his office said Friday.
The visit began from GMS Kangan, where the officer conducted a detailed review of ongoing classes. During interaction with students and staff, Bhat emphasized the importance of focused support for weak and slow learners, encouraging Teachers to provide additional attention to these students to ensure holistic learning outcomes.
Continuing the visit, the CEO reached BHSS Kullan.
He inaugurated the “Aghaz Lab”, newly established as a significant addition aimed at enhancing scientific learning in the Institution. The officer urged the institution’s head to invite students from nearby high and middle schools to utilize the facility, promoting a culture of experiential learning.
Later, a grand felicitation event, organized jointly by the Principals of BHSS Kullan and BHSS Gund, honored meritorious students who secured top positions in the JKBOSE Class 10th and 12th examinations. The students were recognized for their exceptional achievements with certificates of appreciation, trophies, and medals as a token of encouragement, the statement added.
