Pulwama’s young author Honoured with National Literature Award 2025

Srinagar: Pulwama’s very own literary voice, Faheem ul Islam, has been conferred with the prestigious National Literature Award 2025 by the Indian Literature and Arts Society. The award acknowledges his exceptional contribution to literature, with a focus on social issues and youth empowerment, reflected in his powerful books and thought-provoking newspaper columns.
Faheem, who hails from Achan Pulwama, completed his Master’s in International Politics from Aligarh Muslim University, combining academic depth with a passion for social justice. His writings have resonated with readers from all walks of life, earning him widespread admiration for shedding light on the struggles of society, particularly the youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Faheem expressed his heartfelt gratitude, saying, “I owe this recognition to Allah, and I am forever thankful to my parents and mentors for their continuous guidance and support.”
Faheem ul Islam, in his message to the youth, urged them to stay grounded, embrace knowledge, and use their voices to bring about positive change in society.
