Srinagar: A high level meeting of JKTA Baramulla was held on Monday at District headquarter in which District and Zonal Cadre leaders participated.
The leaders expressed dismay over the failure of J&K Government to address the genuine demands of employees, a statement issued by the organisation said.
While addressing the meeting the District President Bhat Altaf Hussain said that the newly elected Government has completely failed to address the genuine demands of employees.
“We have been demanding the release of pending DA/HRA. GP fund bills of employees are piling dust in treasuries. It’s not any charity but a hard earned savings of an employee,” Bhat added.
He further said that employees are facing hardships due to apathetic attitude of Govt and that if the Government will not take initiative to meet their demands, they will hold a strong demonstration.
Participants anonymously passed a resolution with one voice in support of protest call given by Association’s Chairman Shah Fayaz on 17th of January 2025, the statement added.
