Srinagar, Dec 14 (PTI): Having two power centres anywhere is recipe for disaster, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said.
He said that there were no ifs and buts, the prime minister and the home minister said J-K will be back as full state; so that has to be done now, Omar said when asked about Centre’s statehood ‘promise’.
“I am yet to come across single example of J-K benefiting from being Union Territory,” he added.
“Ultimately, Prime Minister and Home Minister have to sit down and decide on statehood restoration issue,” Omar added.
