Army soldier killed in accidental mine blast in Poonch
Jammu, Dec 9 (PTI): An army trooper was killed in a mine blast near LoC in Mandi area of Poonch district on Monday, officials said.
They said that during patrolling along LoC, an army soldier accidently stepped on the mine triggering a blast.
They said that an army soldier (Havildar) identified as Subaish (39) was critically injured. He was immediately evacuated to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up. (GNS)
