CRPF trooper dies in south Kashmir’s Anantnag

Srinagar, Dec 6:  A CRPF personnel died after he fell unconscious in Mattan area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.

They said that during the intervening night a CRPF personnel who was posted at Mattan developed syncope and was evacuated to PHC Mattan for treatment, where doctors declared him as brought dead. Preliminary investigations suggest that he died of cardiac arrest.

He has been identified as constable Azad Ahmad Najar son of Gull Mohammad Najar resident of Sheikhpora Uttersoo.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and investigation have been taken up.(GNS)
