Bijbehara shuts against forces ‘highhandedness’
A shutdown is being observed today in Zirpora Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district against the alleged high-handedness of the government forces.
According to sources, government forces damaged the windowpanes of Shahi Masjid last evening.
Consequently, a spontaneous protest shutdown is being observed against the forces’ action.
Meanwhile, ahead of scheduled visit of CM Mehbooba Mufti to her hometown, tight security arrangements have been made in the area.
