Police attaches property of a notorious drug peddler in Kulgam
Srinagar: Police in Kulgam attached property (a double storied residential house) measuring 1465 Sq. Ft and 13 marlas of Land underneath the residential house (Value of more than one crore) belonging to a notorious drug peddler Imran Ahmad Ganie Son of Late Mohammad Ramzan Ganie resident of Nassu Badragund Qazigund, Kulgam under section 68-F(2) of NDPS Act 1985.
The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in narcotic drug and psychotropic substances by the owner during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Kulgam Police.
The said drug peddler is presently detained under PIT NDPS act and is lodged at Central Jail Kot Balwal Jammu. Pertinently, he is involved in Case FIR number 34/2024 of Police Station Qazigund, the spokesman added.
This action reaffirms the commitment of J&K Police to combat the drug menace, he added.
