LG Manoj Sinha administers oath of office and secrecy to Omar Abdullah, five ministers
Srinagar, Oct 16: LG Manoj Sinha administered the oath of office and secrecy to Omar Abdullah and five ministers on Wednesday.
Omar Abdullah sworn-in as first chief minister of Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir during an impressive ceremony at SKICC on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar.
Surinder Chaudry MLA Nowshera was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister while as Sakina Itoo MLA DH Pora and Javed Dar who won from Rafiabad in north Kashmir was also sworn in as a minister of the UT.
Besides, Javed Ahmad Rana MLA Mendhar and Satish Sharma MLA Chamb were also administered the oath of secrecy as ministers of the UT.
