Lok Sabha MP Abdul Rashid Sheikh meets LG Sinha
SRINAGAR: Abdul Rashid Sheikh, Member of Parliament, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan on Saturday, an official spokesman said here. .
He said that the Member of Parliament apprised the Lt Governor of various developmental and civic issues of Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency.
Subsequently, G M Shaheen, President, J&K Janta Dal United (JDU) also called on the Lieutenant Governor and put forth several issues of public importance.
Later, a delegation of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by its President Javid Ahmad Tenga met the Lt Governor at Raj Bhawan, the spokesman added.
