Illegal extraction of minerals: Police seizes two vehicles in Kulgam, two persons held
Srinagar: Police in Kulgam arrests two drivers and seized two vehicles for their involvement in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
He said that a police party along with a team of geology and mining department Kulgam seized two vehicles (Dumpers) and arrested two drivers involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals at Manigam Crossing.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No 208/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Qazigund and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
