KVJA mourn demise of ace photojournalist Nissar Bhat
Srinagar: The Kashmir Video Journalists Association (KVJA) Saturday mourned the demise of senior News Photographer of The Hindu, Nisar Ahmad.
The association remains in close contact with bereaved family members over the last three days and expresses sympathy and condolences to the grief-stricken family members, a statement issued by the association said.
It said that a condolence meeting and Fateh Khwani was held by KVJA in which President Tariq Lone and other members prayed for the departed soul.
In an extraordinary meeting, the Association’s President remembered Nissar Sahab’s tremendous contribution towards journalism.
“His kindness and helping behaviour will remain always in our hearts. May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and elevate his status in Jannat ul Firdous,” it added.
