Police seizes three tractors involved in illegal mining
Srinagar: Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals at Khoresherabad and Baliharan Baramulla, Police seized three tractors and arrested their drivers, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
He said that police parties seized three tractors and arrested three drivers identified as Arif Ahmad Shah son of Abdl Rashid resident of Khore Sherabad, Arshid Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Hamid resident of Shirpora Pattan and Aadil Hussain Ganie son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Nowlari Pattan.
They were found involved in illegal extraction/ transportation of minerals and accordingly case FIRs under relevant sections of law have been registered in Police Station Pattan and investigations have been taken up, the spokesman added.
