Srinagar: To curb the menace of illegal mining, Police in Kulgam have seized six vehicles and arrested six persons involved in extraction and transportation of minerals from river Vaishow and other Nallahs, police said Monday.
Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Qaimoh and Police Station Devsar and investigations have been initiated, he said.
