Special Lok Adalat for consumer cases organized at DCC Samba
SAMBA: District Legal Services Authority Samba Authority Friday organized a Special Lok Adalat of Consumer Cases in the District Court Complex Samba.
The said Special Lok Adalat was organized under the directions and overall Supervisions of Adnan Sayeed, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Samba.
A Special bench for settling Consumer cases was constituted, which comprised M.S. Parihar, President District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Kathua (Former District & Sessions Judge) and Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary DLSA, Samba.
A total number of 05 Cases were taken up by the bench for amicable settlement, out of which one case was settled and Rs. 69,225 was awarded as settlement amount.
