Police arrest absconder in Awantipora
Srinagar: Police in Awantipora arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for a long time, a police spokesman said Monday.
He said that a warrant under section 512 CrPC issued by the Court of JMIC Pampore pending with Police Station Pampore against the accused Tariq Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Mohidin Lone resident of Tujjar Sharief Sopore was executed, who was evading his arrest since the past 13 years.
He was involved in case FIR No. 191/2011 of Police Station Pampore and was arrested by a special Police team. Subsequently, the arrested accused was produced before the Court of Law, the spokesman added.
