Woman dies, seven others injured in road mishap at Awantipora
Srinagar: A woman lost her life while seven others were injured in a road accident in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Sunday.
An official said that an accident took place at Chursoo Awantipora, in which eight people got injured who were taken to PHC Awantipora. He said that at PHC Awantipora doctors declared one woman identified as Sumi Jan wife of Mudasir Ahmad Ganie resident of Panzgam declared brought dead.
He further added that among injured persons three wre been referred to SMHS for further treatment and four of the injured were given treatment in PHC Awantipora and were stable.
Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance and started investigations.
