Police recovers illicit timber in Handwara
Srinagar: Police recovered illicit timber (deodar) in village Kherman area of Handwara in north Kashmir, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
He said that acting on reliable information, police recovered 32 logs of illicit timber (Deodar) from the cowshed of Abdul Rehman Ganai @Showkat son of Mohammad Subhan resident of Kherman Wadipoora. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 34/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered & investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
