Illegal extraction of minerals: Police seizes two vehicles, arrests two drivers in Baramulla
Srinagar: Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, police have seized 2 vehicles and arrested 2 drivers in Baramulla, a police spokesman said Friday.
He said that a police party seized two vehicles and arrested two drivers, involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Ferozpora Tangmarg and Pinjoora Kunzer Baramulla. The accused drivers have been identified as Mehraj-ud-din Beigh son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Bichipira and Irshad Ahmad Malik son of Ali Mohammad resident of Pariswani.
Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at respective police stations and further investigation has been initiated.
