Preliminary inquiry initiated against G&M Deptt official
JAMMU: A news item appeared in the daily newspapers and social media on 6th of January, 2024 regarding involvement of an officer of Geology and Mining (G&M) department in a case filed by ACB, J&K.
In this respect a preliminary enquiry has been initiated and a report has been called from ACB J&K to take necessary disciplinary action on this matter.
The G&M department is committed to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in its functioning, an official spokesman said.
