DHEW-MS Ganderbal conducts Awareness programmes
GANDERBAL: The Department of Social Welfare Ganderbal and DHEW Mission Shakti Ganderbal organized sensitization cum awareness camps in various Government schools located in far flung areas of district where children from scheduled tribe families are enrolled.
Besides raising awareness regarding all the schemes of the social welfare department and other departments, and sensitization regarding all the women related issues, the team also distributed school bags and other stationery items among the most deserving girl children of these schools who are from poor families.
The scheme BBBP seeks to address a wide gamut of issues including reducing the child sex ratio (CSR) and also enhance women empowerment while eliminating gender-based inequalities and also safeguarding girl children.
