‘Foundation world school’ organizes sports event
Budgam: Foundation World School organized a sports event on its Mamath campus on Saturday. The event was aimed to instill healthy sport habits amongst the students prioritizing physical well-being.
On the occasion the students interacted with the eminent sports persons from UT and other parts of the country including footballers Abdul Majid Dar, Muhammad Sajid Dar, Muhammad Ashfaq Wadu and Mursaleen Ahmed.
Besides basketball coach from Khelo India initiative and noted physiotherapist Anandu Sasu associated with Chenniyan FC were also present.
The guests sharing their life experiences with the students provided them valuable insights into the world of sports.
They emphasized the importance of sports and it’s role in physical and mental wellbeing.
The event provided an opportunity for the students to inculcate discipline and sportsmanship in them.
The guests further stressed upon the role of sports in character building and mental toughness of an individual.
Foundation World School regularly holds such events whereby students benefit by interacting with achievers in public life.
