Labourer dies of electrocution in Budgam
Budgam: A labourer died of electric shock while cutting branches of trees in Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday afternoon.
An official said that he received electric shock during branch cutting.
He identified him as Abdul Rashid Ganaie son of Abdul Karim Ganaie of Danes Beerwah.
“The labourer was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead,” the official said.
Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
