Faulty drainage creating water logging near food office Pulwama
Pulwama: The residents of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district have alleged that faulty drainage system has inundated many residential houses and many offices in Pulwama town.
The residents said that the drainage system gets blocked very often due to which adjacent lanes and by lanes are flooded with rain water.
They said that as proper drainage system isn’t in place, it often leads to water logging near the food supplies office Pulwama.
An employee of the food office said that whenever there are rains, it causes water logging near the office.
He said that they along with public visiting the office are facing lot of inconveniences while entering the office.
He said that if steps won’t be taken this water can enter the godown and lead to massive damage.
Locals also said that due to rains the lanes and roads in the area remain flooded.
