R-Day 2023: Arrangements reviewed at Karnah
KUPWARA: The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather on Thursday convened a meeting of all concerned officers to ensure proper arrangements for ensuing Republic Day (RD) 2023 celebration in Sub Division Karnah.
On the occasion, SDM stressed the officers to ensure hassle free arrangements for smooth conduct of the National event.
He directed all departments to display Tableaus on the eve of Republic Day parade to showcase developmental activities of their respective departments.
He also stressed the need for maintaining protocol in seating arrangements and issued directions to the R&B department and police department for taking proper protocol of the National Flag and security arrangements.
He said the main Republic Day celebration function shall be held at Mini secretariat Ground at Tangdar. He asked officers to ensure Flag hoisting functions at their offices also.
He asked R&B department for proper sanitation and cleanliness of the Mini Secretariat ground. They were also directed to keep manpower available in case of Snowfall on both days of rehearsal and main function.
Besides, Seating arrangements, decoration, sanitation, Ambulance and first aid, security and other arrangements were also discussed and concerned officers were directed to ensure these arrangements on ground.
The SDM also directed officers to ensure their presence including staff in the Republic Day function.
Principal GDC Tangdar, BMO Tangdar and other Tehsil level officers were present in the meeting.
