Respected Sir,

Kudos to young wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan for playing an outstanding knock against Bangladesh in the third One Day International (ODI) match.

Kishan’s scintillating performance at Chattogram that broke several records in one go will go down in the history as one of the most remarkable innings played ever by a batsman. Virat Kohli, his partner at the crease also looked in a golden touch when he surpassed Ricky Ponting’s landmark by slamming his 72nd international hundred and ending his three years long drought of ODI centuries.

Both Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli must be lauded for salvaging Team India’s pride in the final match of the series. By joining the elite club of double tons, Ishan has now emerged as an able contender for the squad of the 50 Over’s World Cup scheduled for next year. He has passed the audition with flying colours.
